Our exciting menu has more than just mussels with some tastebud tingling fish, shellfish and surf and turf dishes.
At the Mussel Inn Seafood Restaurant in Edinburgh, we offer an ever-changing variety of dishes using seasonal ingredients all sourced from Scotland’s rich larder and beyond, exciting new recipes and flavour combinations. Around 75% of our mussels are from Scotland but we also use mussels from Ireland and South West England (Devon) to ensure a supply all year round.
Our current menu includes seafood and non-seafood starters, soups, mains, side dishes and tried and tested homemade desserts. For a suitable wine check our wine list – a carefully selected choice of international wines that perfectly match our sensational dishes.

Nurtured in the cold, clear sea lochs of the west coast, our sustainably cultivated oysters grow more slowly than those from warmer waters, providing a richness and depth of taste that we believe is unique.

Mussel Pots
Our mussels are grown on ropes in Scotland where they feed naturally in the plankton rich waters. We also use mussels from Ireland and South West England (Devon) to ensure a supply all year round. Sustainability and care for the environment are of utmost importance to our growers.
