“I am from England but now live in Oklahoma. I miss good shellfish. I now tell all my friends to go to this restaurant when they visit Europe. It is a great all round dining experience. If you go to Edinburgh, you have to eat here.”
For starter, I went for the Queen Scallops grilled in garlic butter which were absolutely delicious. These little ladies were grilled to perfection! When it came to the mains, of course I ordered a 1/2 kilo pot of mussels. Absolutely divine. Nowhere in Glasgow does them better than the Mussel Inn.
“Filled to the brim with people as we arrived ( always a great sign) The dish my mum ordered (spiced sea fish stew) she described as “I tell you what, this is a ten out of ten dish” I ordered the Moroccan mussels….. and these were great. Didn’t get to see the inside, but the outside had a great atmosphere.” (Edinburgh restaurant)
