David Smith: June 3 – August 4

This month sees the opening of an exhibition of new work by Scottish artist David Smith. Inspired by his love of the outdoors, Smith’s latest work depicts the beauty of the Scottish coasts and its fishing communities. A prize winning artist, Smith is represented in many private collections, as well as being on public display in institutions such as Glasgow Caledonian University and the House of Lords.

Fittingly, this exhibition, celebrating the beauty of Scotland is housed in the restaurant Mussel Inn, which also celebrates the delights of the sea and its harvest.

Sourcing its produce from the Mull of Kintyre to the Shetlands, the Mussel Inn offers not only the freshest mussels – steamed in their own juices, or served with a wide selection of specially created sauces – in its signature kilo pot, but also the freshest of King and Queen Scallops, as well as mouth-watering starters, Catch of the Day fish and a delicious Seafood Platter.
